T-Bones in Ontario

"I came here and ordered the t-bone sirloin burger with fries. I was told by the staff that the burger was the most ordered item. The burger turned out really good. The patty had a nice char and tasted great. The fries were okay. For the value, it is a great meal."

"Steak is still good and very affordable, but I remember it was tastier a few years ago. This morning we had a 16oz T-bone and a 12oz New York streak, and the total cost was ~$55. One unpleasent item: the home fries today were very hard and dry, almost felt like they were cooked overnight. Nonetheless, it is still a welcoming restaurant, just like it has always been."

"Very good food here. Had the chicken souvlaki sandwich and the wife had the fish and chips. She really liked the fish and chips and wants to go back for more. My sandwich was big, practically a small sub sandwich. Also, the fries are great-- nice and thick, the way I like them. We seemed to be the first customers after the breakfast rush, but by the time we left three more tables had been filled. Definitely going back to try the steak and the burgers!"

"This place is not bad if you set your expectations right. Is it the best steak? Not by a long shot. Is it the cleanest restaurant? Of course not. But it is a no frills neighborhood diner that serves affordable meals. That's all you need to know. Tip: ask for lighter doneness for they tend to overcook."

"Something that people need to understand before going here, is that you're making a decision on what you're paying for. If you want everything brought to you, 5 star restaurant level environement etc, you have to go to a restaurant that most likely is making you pay for that experience. I've never had a cheaper steak in my life, and it was solid. Is the inside kind of rundown? Sure. Is the food served on trays at the counter? Yes but whatever. A waiter expecting to be tipped bringing your steak to your table and refilling your water doesn't change the way your steak tastes, but I definitely pay more when that's part of the service. The food was out FAST. The prices are good. The tables could use a wipe down but whatever. Urinal was out of order and the washroom was a bit gross but whatever. Bells and whistles and fancy service is just a cost to be passed on to the customer. If you want a cheap steak, something has to be cheaped out on. Simple as that. I'm super happy with what I paid for, I'm happy to come back someday. The food was out so quickly you could come here on a lunch break. (TV was loud and playing an obnoxious children's show when the place was near empty though) $21 for a NY and a side"
